A federal judge on Thursday ordered the removal of stickers placed in high school biology textbooks that call evolution ``a theory, not a fact,'' saying they were an unconstitutional endorsement of religion.

Part of the whole problem is a failure to use language precisely. Evolution is a theory that describes a fact. The theory may not be an exact identity with the facts, but the facts are facts, Jack. Natural variation occurs, period.
