They are going to remake a movie of "Get Smart" this year. "Would you believe" that Jim Carrey is Maxwell? The problem I have with Carrey is he is always goofy while Don Adams always seemed like a straight guy who fell into goofiness. Getting a good Siegfried will be the tough part. Bernie Koppell was perfect as the evil genius from Kaos.

Robert Vaughn was The Man From Uncle. David McClellan was his Russian partner. I think David is on one of those boring CSI shows now.

Horst Buchholz was a huge teen-idol star in Germany and he played the Mexican kid who went north to recruit and join the Mags.

I don't think any of the seven were killed, and Brad was one of the seven. He had appeared in many movies, but got his big break when he saved Frank Sinatra from drowning in real life. He directed one of my favorite Robert Redford movies, Little Fauss and Big Halsey. And he married Peggy Lee, among others, giving her Fever, I suppose. <G>
