Hi Reid,

I was surpised at how AAPL traded today. I thought we'd see some sort of white candle.

But look at the intraday...

15 min: 139.142.147.22

5 min: http://139.142.147.22/GifChartEngine.dll?interval_day=6&cus=0&indexSymbol=&securityType=1&symbol=AAPL&country=USA&size=2&interval_min=5&type=2&moving1=0&moving2=0&moving3=0&bollinger=0&in_vol_check=on&in_rsi_choice=8&in_rsi=8&in_sto_check=on&in_sto_choice=1&in_sto1=15&in_sto2=5&in_sto3=5&in_wil_choice=12&in_wil=12&in_macd_choice=1&in_macd1=12&in_macd2=25&in_macd3=9&in_roc_choice=1&in_roc1=16&in_roc2=8&in_mfi_choice=14&in_mfi=14&refreshrate=180

AAPL is extremely oversold now on an intraday basis. Also, there were two big volume spikes (in addition to the intial flurry of trading). The first was just before noon, and stopped AAPL in its downward tracks, and reversed it to the upside. The second towards the end of the day was much stronger. I think this may have the same effect, and together these two volume spikes (along with the stochastics) supports your interpretation that AAPL is likely to bounce tomorrow.

I also agree that AAPL will seek a new high ground, probably near the 80 level, and will then consolidate there. As you pointed out, this has been a recurrent theme with AAPL.
