Apparently a common delusion. Saw a license plate frame today - "Happiness is Killin' Things". The vehicle? An F-350 dual cab hi-rise with 4WD and a deer head on the trailer hitch and stickers all over the rear windshield. It's like one can know the guy without him ever saying a word. Not all hunters have such a cavalier attitude. My friend who was very active in Ducks Unlimited had a very cerebral attitude about it and was into habitat restoration. Ironically, the best friends of the environment are those who use it for sport - including the catch and release crowd and many hunters. For me, I'd rather shoot them with a camera than a modified choke. I found the actual hunting process rather unsettling and unpleasant. I like camping and hiking still.
