That is an obvious false and agendized statement: Science can look at what isn't there and say, "We don't know" And then proceed to look for that answer. Creationists look to what isn't there and want to say "it's God that's missing".

What bigotted hogwash...

The extremist lab cloak clerics, like you, look at what isn't known and say

" we would know if we get better at science, however, we know the answer isn't available via that made up pretend god thing those other guys talk about ...

while believers say, we don't know yet but we all should study and keep our minds open to information whether it comes from our observations of the creations on this planet, distant realms, or messages of the spirit, as it is our expectation that the many mysteries of this temporal life will be revealed in the fulness of time and in the eternity beyond."

The thing is that evolution doesn't even go towards the creation of the universe, they are attacking the wrong theory.

In any event their real complaint is that evolution throws homo sapiens in the muck with all the other animals, and they would prefer to think of homo sapiens as an exhalted being.

It all comes down to ego.
