It would have made all the difference in the world. It would have meant Arab speaking soldiers. It would have meant enough boots on the ground to maintain order. It would have meant securing weapons depots. It would have meant keeping Iraq from descending into a lawless hellhole. It would have meant that there would be a chance for meaningful national elections. It would have meant far, far fewer US deaths and injuries. It would have meant far, far fewer Iraqi casualties. It would have meant that Iraq would get a much better shot at democracy.
