Saddam was not our special project. Saddam was a problem of the entire world. We needed to work in concert with our allies. But beyond that we needed to underscore the war on terror by getting to Al Qaeda and bin Laden

Wrong again. Saddam was shooting at our guys, our planes. Saddam was in violation of the '91 accords won with US blood and treasure and the hunt for Bin Laden has never abated.....

You're full of crap as usual, wussy boy......

We were already using force on Iraq. We had Saddam boxed in between the no-fly zones and our aircraft could bomb Iraq anytime they wanted. All Saddam had was some old anti-aircraft guns. I doubt if our aircraft had even the tiniest of damage during those sorties. Surely none of them was downed or even hit severely.
