scott- i'm very sorry to hear your bad news. government bureaucracies are awful and when they are fearful, they're terrible. how come some of us know that people don't become extremists/agitators/terrorists because the hours are good, and those that hold the power don't know it. nevermind. its a rhetorical question. :( poor mr. hung. -rose

Scooter <I have to think that we will eventually work through this> In Vietnam, some of those issues can be handled by "administrative forwarding costs".....bribes. In an old company I worked for we did it all the time with government officials. Folks at headquarters in the State heads would explode when they heard about it - they didn't understand it was just a way of doing business there if you wanted to get anything done. And, I know you've probably been through all that. The part about not letting foreign nationals into the regions - sounds like the paranoia is still there. Altair19
