Yeah, I think it was tejek's, not John's views on Iran.

Then you must have missed the part where I said Iran had elected a pro democracy president who is pushing for reform but has little power. The biggest part of his backing are the students. University students tend to lead the way when there is opposition to the gov't.......look no further than the Vietnam War.

Having said that, I am not sure their anti gov't stance translates into a pro Bush position. That's Thomas Friedman's spin.......and we all know that Friedman is one more mouthpiece for the current administration.
