I just read a post on another thread where 23 gays were kicked out of the service. They knew ARABIC and were translators. Since we NEED these skills desperately I see it as shooting oneself in the foot. It I find the post again I will cut and paste it.

Canada is moving in some very nice directions, for those of us who are blue staters at heart :-)

Blue is such a nice cool serene color. I'm glad we get to be blue staters. I'm not fond of the color red.
