From the tone of your post, it is clear that you are really simply pissed that it is GWB and not John Kerry that this ball is in honor of. OF COURSE!!! It's just something else to complain about. They're pissed they lost (oh,yeah, Kerry didn't lose, he just didn't win). I am eagerly awaiting 2008, when they likely lose again. When that happens, we will see a temper tantrum of Rumplestiltskinan proportions.

I think that there were two presidents who curtailed their inauguration affairs BECAUSE THE NATION WAS AT WAR. You probably know who they are. Why cannot I think it "inappropriate" without you guys all getting your noses out of joint. I am not making comparisons.. It matters not what others have done as the times they were different. Please see my post to ALAN about the idol you have made this guy. Is there not one of you posting here who can see that this might be an inappropriate inaugural ? NO ?
