how many remember we won the gold in Squaw Valley in '60? :-)>

I remember it distinctly - it was a Saturday afternoon and the game was played at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.

OK...wazzit in Squaw Valley or Colorado Springs?

Spring Valley vs the Colorado Squaws?

Who's on first?

I remember a few names. That may have been the first time I watched hockey.

The games were close to home, so I watched a lot. I think this may have been a bigger victory than in '80; cold war politics and the importance of sport was heavier in the 60's than in '80, I think.
