Hamas asked me to vote in their next election. Asked me to come to the polling booth on some deserted road and look for the man with big belt. (G)

The Mufti was not governing the country, powerful though he had been helped to become by radical zionist statements to rail against, he never headed the government .... the british were administering the place, and while they had been near broken by the war at that point, they should have tried harder towards a democratic solution ... but terrorism from both sides was beating them up, arms and immigrants were being smuggled into the country in massive numbers, and they couldn't see it getting any better, so they left .... great mistakes had been made early on, in lack of enforcement of the harm-no-natives clause of the Balfour declaration, if not in the whole idea of the declaration, as it was not their land to give away

Maybe you have some quotes of zionists promoting an inclusive democracy in the forties? ... there may well have been some, there were relative moderates in the movement at times, probably more in the early days though, before the cycle of action and reaction got quite so deadly

What we definitely don't see, is you in favour of democracy, ahem

But speaking of colour, look what a scarey bold-caps blue the search turns Whackenstaats, how appropriate - Message 20949099
... so you see, another of your accusations is proven wrong, i've always viewed one Excludostaat to be as whacked as another
