These are your assumptions. They are demonstrably wrong.

(1) "Saddam was a threat to America".

He was not. Not only did he have no WMDs but he also had no means of delivery. If he wanted to hurt the US, it was only in his dreams.

(2) "There is a single Islamic terror movement that is focused on the struggle over Iraq's future".

There is no single "Islamic terror movement" with a single head that decides where the focus will be. You would know that if you read a single serious study of the subject. There are local organizations whose affiliation to Al-Qaeda is only admiration and maybe a request for guidance in what they plan to do. See Bali. See Madrid.

Iraq IS playing an important role in the future of Islamic fundamentalism, though, and it is a source of concern for those of us who think for ourselves rather than parrot Fox TV lines - Thousands of people who were not terrorists before are now terrorists thanks to your administration's pointless invasion and bloody occupation. When they are done with Iraq, what do you think they are going to do? "Knit Afghan rugs? Don't think so", LOL.

(3) "Number of terrorists has stayed the same. So it is a good thing we are occupying them all in Iraq"

No it has not. Your country's pointless occupation of Iraq is creating new terrorists every day. Not only Iraqis, although turning them into terrorists by massive numbers has been one stupid mistake, but also other Muslim youths from all over the world, who have taken it upon themselves to fight this occupation.

You obviously have internet access. Try reading news from different sources for a change.
