Intereesting to see both PC and Mac owners extol the virtues of their respective platforms. I started out with the first desktop PC that IBM rolled out in 1981, I believe. Committed myself (almost literally) to learning BASIC and delved into DOS. Fortunately, the Mac identified graphics as their niche and I converted early on. Just wonder why the PC crowd took so long to get on board. Now code is written simultaneously for the PC and Mac for graphics apps. And, I'm just waiting for that "Single" platform day.
