So what would you have the President of the U.S., the leader of the free world, say? "America will NOT stand by anyone who opposes tyrants. You're on your own." Don't be ridiculous, Alighieri. U.S. Presidents have been saying we will stand side by side with oppressed people working to overthrow their repressive gov't for decades. The only difference is that Bush means what he says and acts on it. Other Presidents just used the rhetoric to sound grand.
