>You are wasting your time...gg<

I know that I am .. except that I wanted to vent a little.

I detest anyone that, illegally, strips me of rights and then tells me I should be grateful.

Otherwise life is one big <G> ..

I believe a better decision would have been to tell all those grandfathered folks that have been using the service for free, that their memberships are going to be reduced to the same level as the new freebie accounts. If they want access to premium features, it is time for them to start paying, while at the same time the new ownership should continue to honor the previous lifetime memberships retaining all the features available to new lifetime memberships.

This is the first time I have put my 2 cents in but I think this paragraph says it all. As a paid lifetime member I think that it was a mistake to offer those who have had a free ride all along the same "new" access as someone like myself.

I agree 100% with Gersh! I think those of you in charge of SI should understand why people like Gersh and myself feel short changed. We feel like we have been given the short end of the stick. I also feel like I have been told "that's just tough luck" and then, in the same breath, we are told that we should feel grateful to the people who treat us this poorly.

I do feel cheated when others, who have never paid a dime to SI, have equal access as those of us who actually paid to be a "Lifetime" member. For those running SI to not understand this is ignorant and it appears to me that they are trying to "justify" an injustice.

I also think that every person who was a paid lifetime member should post a similar view on this thread if they view the situation the same as Gersh and myself.
