Bush has moved so far to the right that the worst thing the Dems could do is redefine themselves in terms of the Left at all Is Wilsoniansm now "Right"? That was a very Wilsonian address yesterday, so much so that many conservatives like Peggy Noonan had trouble digesting it. The Republicans have taken over optimism and vision for the future, the Democrats have become reactionary - and spent the last election in thrall to their Michael Moore left-wingers to boot.
