That's a funny statement. I think it is definitely emblamatic of the current belief trends. What I would say, though, is that Democrats are the ones pushing atheism, abortion, and gay marriage.

It doesn't take a genius to see why in a country that is 82% Christian, people gravitate to Republicans, who have traditionally been for family values, "God and country", and banning abortion.

The left today resembles the morals of secular France, and France we are not.
