Maybe, maybe not. I wasn't alive in Kennedy's time (hell, I was barely alive in Carter's time), and I'm not sure how much I'd go along with his foreign policy. I am NOT enamored with Kennedy, nor have I been all that impressed with any President, ever. There are very few politicians that I can even say I "like" without gagging.

Also, I'm not against spreading democracy... I just am not sure how feasible it really is, and I'm almost certain that we're not accomplishing it through our current actions.

In 2000, Bush was adamantly against it and is now for it... but he was secretly planning to topple Saddam as early as his first inauguration. He says now that the events of September 11th, 2001 caused him to open his eyes, so why was he planning to attack Saddam quite a bit before that?

"I knew Jack Kennedy, and you, sir, are no Jack Kennedy!"

LOL. The Dems are the corrupt ones as the pork piles up in a GOP congress and the budget deficits grow. You need to get a grip and plug into reality.

And while you're at it, you and the rest of the right need to give up the notion that you all have the market cornered on liberty, freedom, patriotism and morality. The only think I can say for sure the right has cornered is unbridled nationalism. And that's what's scaring the bejezus out of me.
