<<most Americans opposed unilateral war and wanted the UN onboard if we were going to go into Iraq. >>

If we waited for the UN the US aid to the tsunami victims would have started at least 29 days later.

It is you Nadine who rewrite history -- most Americans opposed unilateral war and wanted the UN onboard if we were going to go into Iraq

If the question was, "would you like UN approval", most said yes. If the question was, "do you approve Bush's handling of the Iraq war", most said yes to that too - over 65% in 2003.

You are cherry-picking. Do you think the Democrats would have abandoned opposition to the war in 2002 and 2003 if they thought the majority opposed it too? As usual, you contradict yourself - you say they blew with the wind AND that the wind was blowing opposite to the course they took! Your demand of the Dems is that they conduct their policies with 20/20 hindsight! They would if they could, I assure you.
