I have read that ice ages can occur when the angle of the earth's rotation changes..

Makes sense to me.

Personally, a meteor whack is sumptin I'm not lookin forward to. RPM change, mother of all Tsunamis, atmospheric murkiness, reduced light and heat and possible angle of earths rotation. In summary...we may all "assume the postion" by my estimation.
