The main source of problems in the US comes from corrupt politicians, power mad Christians (see James Dobson and Jerry Falwell) and Wall Street corporatism in big government. And you want to give them more power? Already Dobson is threatening to drop support of GWBs Social Security makeover unless he passes a Constitutional amendment against gay marriages. And brother, you haven't seen anything yet from the Christian far right. Geo is now indebted to them up to his neck. The "faith based initiatives" he always talks about is just that. Once he guts veterans benefits, Social Security and Medicare you will have to sign papers, be baptised and proclaim faith in whatever denomination is controlling the purse strings or go stand in the soup lines. You miss the point entirely. Man has shown through all history that he has an endless capacity to be corrupted by power and be inhumane to his fellow man. Concentrating the power of government into an unaccountable super intelligence agency is just begging for trouble. And at the same time to be removing constitutional safe guards!! This is a recipe for disaster never before imaginable because of the power of today's technology. It has nothing to do with the fact that you have nothing to hide. You miss the point.
