If they were treated with kid gloves it would give a lot of credence to critics who contend that the poor, and blacks in particular, are disproportionately represented in the prison population. Although some of these perps are black, they are in an entirely different category and should be held accountable. After all, this is from the party that whined and gnashed teeth over allegedly favorable treatment given to Bush viz. his TANG service. Consequently, this gang of perps should be treated like any other band of vandals. btw, I loved the fact that they thought they were all junior ninjas....lol. Add a few months to the sentence for hubris and sheer stupidity at getting caught. (You just know they got caught because they were bragging.)
