I disagree -- I think they (Fed) want a slide -- they are paying lip service to their buddies because they are on the hook -- and they don't want the slide to be too quick --

central planners here have only one hope -- a much lower dollar -- they will get it, but not just yet.

For housing to survive we need a LOWER dollar -- not a higher one -- debts repaid in cheaper dollars?? But housing won't survive. Bound to crash.
