On the contrary, major international insurance companies are quite concerned about global warming and paying very close attention. They are predicting major increases in disasters, damages, and payouts. And presumably licking their chops at the prospect of big rate increases! I do think the new report is worth discussing here...

But how to react? I've about given up on the idea that human society will heed these warnings and take the proposed precautions. So if the worst case scenario unfolds and rapid climate change is unleashed, I think there will be chaos. Thus I'm shifting over to Jay's mode of thinking, which is to have several escape plans and leave booby traps behinds for the enemy. What do you think?
