CB, blacks are also prone to hypertension and diabetes, more so than the general population. Jewish people (not just Jewish children) are prone to Tay-Sachs disease. Those diseases spring to mind, but I am sure there are others. - Holly

Normal values for some variables from pulmonary function tests are adjusted down 15% for blacks. This is justified by many studies published in peer reviewed journals.
