I gather John's question offended you, but it is a great opener for serious discussion. No, it's a great opener for a food fight. It's a classic example of why it's so hard to have serious discussions on this thread. Someone says she admires the Catholic Church and the response is that she must approve of pedophilia. Someone says that Paris is a lovely city and the response is that he must be a Bush hater. If you want to have a serious discussion, be serious.

Yes, that would be a great opener for discussion on the Yahoo message boards. The standards around here are a little higher, at least in my opinion. If John really wanted to ask me how I feel about Senator Byrd or whatever, he is smart enough to know how to ask that question in a mature manner. The super smart 12 old stuff belongs on the yahoo message boards, not here. That is just my opinion.
