If BS truly did not believe their analyst's "brilliant" analysis of the most recent quarter's likely outcome, and published it for the reasons you describe, heads should roll. But they won't.

Hey Art, Looks like y'all had a pretty decent Quarter. While on a YoY basis, product GMs are coming down (which is to be expected), the margin is substantially better than what the Street was expecting. I haven't had a chance to listen to the CC. They intentionally downgraded the shares in order to get a buying opportunity for themselves and their clients. I really don't "buy" (pun intended) that argument. Most likely, the analyst was trying to make a name for him/herself and s/he was wrong. Enjoy the victory! Dave
