Of course not. Shortsellers have long been willing to accept stock to cover. I think that's wrong, but it isn't extortion. My understanding of the testimony in this case is that Tony never asked Brown for stock. Brown, in fact, offered it. But once again, I have only the journalists' reports to go on.
