So, you're saying that Tony and his associates were innocent victims? Royer and Cleveland conspired to make money using Royer's information. Having failed to do so, they offered Royer's info to Tony. If so, and I suspect you are factually incorrect, he should have said, "no thanks." How could someone NOT know that trading on FBI information was wrong? How could someone NOT know that extortion is not a legitimate trading technique?

Sounds like Royer after being convicted of racketeering, racketeering conspiracy, extortion conspiracy, obstruction of justice, witness tampering, etc. What did he say? That's right, "I really just don't get it." Sadly, it really does not matter in the eyes of the law if the criminal is of the opinion that he's not a criminal. If that were the case as I believe rruff stated then there would be no criminal convictions. A widespread racketeering enterprise with no masterminds, you claim. I guess, as with Philip Berber, who credits the "Great Investment Banker in the Sky" with rewarding him for his racketeering crimes, it was all just inspiration from a power beyond all human comprehension. "T'aint me, twas never my idea." LOL, Janice. Wow. You are REALLY not Getting It. lol, none of these guys were "masterminds".
