That was a pretty unfair comment DMA. Have you checked the birthrate for the US recently? In 1970, it was at 0% growth. That is part of the problem. I doubt it has increased a good deal since then. Another part of the problem is that we expect our Military to be way more than two places in the world at the same time. A year or two before 9-11, we heard a Sr Officer in the Navy say that we had been in 72 'hot spots' the year before.....!!! I hope we don't have a draft either. But maybe we should train more of our citizens as Militia for the Homeland...We may need to protect ourselves more than we would like to believe.
