Are you wanting info on starting a website with database options etc.? I was. I think I may have found a solution. Sometimes problems help to solve other problems, providing some nice synergistic solutions. This is one of those times. I spoke to a web-dude that my brother knows. The dude is expecting a kid soon and only just recently returned to work. Trying hard to make ends meet after paying his rent for a few months with his credit cards... Anyhow, he does work on the side like web page stuff when he's not doing it at his new job. This data base stuff is a walk in the park for him. He showed me some of the sites he maintains. Creative dude. Nice work. He gave me some ideas of what we can do and while talking to him other ideas started popping into my head. Each week during the season I usually send the game summaries and highlights to the local papers. Once we get our website up and running I plan to post the same stories along with photos and other stuff. Thereby creating an audience each week who reads the Mini Packers Sports Page... I think we will be able to then generate some ad revenue that will pay web-dude for maintaining it and in addition it will help fill our coffers a little bit since it has been difficult to find sponsors since our town won't let us put up any billboards or huge scoreboards on the field. Anyhow, if we can automate this registration process with the online site, it will save us board members a ton of paperwork and data entry. -Veep
