I lost track of the conscription issue. vbg If Iraq was not part of the war on terror, or was improperly started on a premise that it was, is now unfortunately irrelevant. It is absolutely, positively now part of such a war. Al Zarqawi's participation in it and its Islamist aspects should be more than enough to convince any doubters--but I am realistic enough to know it won't. Given these assumptions, I would support a draft. I don't like it, no one likes it, but there you are. And I have an 8 year old son who I think is going to probably be affected if things turn out like I think they very well might.
