I'd rather see that energy parlayed into a real fix.

The only way that will work that I can see is to have Federal regulations of Federal Elections. Picture ID, etc. If that was done, the states would be forced by their voters to do the same thing with their local elections. I think it would be legal to do so.

A majority of documented voter fraud is committed by
democrats IMO. If it was anywhere near equal, the MSM would
have a plethora of documentaries exposing the vast right wing
election fraud machine. But they don't exist, do they?

The latest from Milwaukee

Powerline blog

Greg Borowski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel continues to expose the vote fraud that plagued Milwaukee on election day: "City ok'd 1,305 flawed voter cards." Borowski writes:

<<<
Milwaukee officials said Thursday that 1,305 same-day voter registration cards from the Nov. 2 election could not be processed, including more than 500 cases where voters listed no address and dozens more where no name was written on the card.

But the revelation of the actual number of cards that couldn't be processed, far lower than previous estimates of 8,300 or more, raised new concerns, because it leaves a clear gap of more than 7,000 people who voted on Nov. 2 and cannot be accounted for in city records.

The online Journal Sentinel article is accompanied by a good sidebar on the irregularities that have come to light in Milwaukee, where John Kerry outpolled President Bush by 123,000 votes. President Bush lost Wisconsin by a total of 11,384 votes. At The American Mind Sean Hackbarth comments in "1,305 people shouldn't have voted."

The problem is the system,

You are the IT person. How difficult would it be to design, develop, and implement a system using TCPIP. All you would then need are some PC's that are either in the voting booth and or you could bring your own. For some people, they would get touch screens.

When you register to vote, you would get a user ID and password. When you come in to vote on the day of the election, you would get another password.

This wouldn't be expensive at all. There would be an audit trail. I don't think anybody could get through all the security that you would design into the system.

I don't know you at all except for what you do here on SI.

I bet you could design and develop this system.

Knowing you, I know you are going to answer with a lot of yada, yadas, but I would have no doubts that you could do it.
