I was just looking at photos at the NIST (National Institute for Stupid Theories) site, and thought this one looked odd.

If I'm not mistaken, the steel plates were welded to the inside of the perimeter columns, and the square holes, near the base of the columns, are on the inside to give access to the bolt holes. These columns are supposedly from the point of the North tower plane impact, yet it appears the force that bent the standing column, and wrapped the three on the floor around each other, came from the inside of the building, not from the outside. Am I missing something? I recall seeing a clip which appears to show the outside of the building expanding outward just prior to the plane's impact.

The two items, taken together with the laser spots, and the fact the plane disappeared entirely into the building, without any pieces breaking off outside, makes a pretty good case for the plane being guided into a specific spot on the building, which was wired with explosives.

The plane gets close, the explosives go bang, the columns are bent outward, and the plane slides into the hole without leaving any pieces behind.
