At the Vancouver show, VIA was just about the most highly touted jr PM stock. A lot of promotion, have no idea if
justified.

Have looked at it in prev yrs, liked it but never bought.

Related to prospects, country and risk:

>>IMO, "elephants" can still be found in Mexico, Turkey and Peru. I am not so sure the same applies to Quebec (or Ontario ?)

How can you so glibly dismiss the Canadian scene?

Here's an extract from a more extensive news release issued the beginning of 2003. The program envisaged was successful, and is on-going, without any promotion (to my knowlege). How would you assess it, in retrospect ? Prospectively, is it not the equal of anything offered in Mexico, Turkey or Peru ?

"Targets were selected based on proprietary airborne magnetics, electromagnetics and drillhole data generated by Inco Limited between 1970 and 1974. ........

" Gold mineralization within the project area is related to the regional structural corridor, the Stull-Wunnumin Fault Zone (SWFZ), and is similar to the Porcupine-Destor Fault system in the Timmins Gold Camp, the Cadillac Break in the Val d'Or Camp and to gold deposits in the Red Lake Camp. Gold mineralization is also associated with the Peeagwon Banded Iron Belt, which has been interpreted on the basis of proprietary airborne magnetics to be the eastward extension of the Musselwhite Banded Iron Belt that contains a number of gold deposits, including Placer Dome's Musselwhite Mine"

Incidently, a today's news report states that an Inco exploration manager has just accepted appointment as president of the exploration company involved.
