Roughly 5,200 of the 5,300 Iraqi polling stations opened. Very successful. Not if those unopened polls were in heavily populated Sunni cities and neighborhoods. FYI. I don't hate all Muslims. I hate the ideology of Fundamentalist Islam, which is simply modern day fascism. And I am critical of moderate Muslims for not doing enough to stem the growing tide of Fundamentalist Islam. Would have fooled me. You need to go back and read your posts of the past month. ted

This is a good point, but you have to remember that 95% of the Arabian Muslims do not have "freedom of speech" in their countries, so the ordinary population and even the intellectual elite cannot freely make controversial public statements (or they mysteriously vanish, or are imprisoned for their "deviant" ideology). So which moderate Muslims are supposed to do something to stop the fundamentalists??
