Ted, You forget the very basic step that allowed the creation of Israel.

It doesn't matter whether you think the creation of modern-day Israel was a mistake or not.


What matters is how it was created. That was my point. You seem to think that you have the explanation for the Arabs hostility towards Israel but your explanation is only part of the equation. Its much more complicated. And its not likely that Arab prosperity will change that hostility.

The point is that today, Israel has a right to exist, and her neighbors better get used to it.

No one said that Israel doesn't have a right to exist. I thought we were talking about Arab hostility towards Israel.

As for the Palestinians, if they have a problem with that, they ought to complain to the powers who gave them over to Israel in the first place.

That would be us.

No. That's not the point at all. The discussion was centered on why hostility to Israel exists in the Middle East.

I gave my explanation (shall I cut and paste it again?), and you've ignored it. Don't change the subject!
