It's simple. I've made lot's of mistakes in my life and I'm sure you have too. But I didn't quit and say well that's that. Instead, I got up again and kept going. Bush, thankfully, is the same way. I think he has made far too many mistakes. But in my mind, the ultimate mistake would be to leave Iraq too soon. Bush has never caved on that issue and I'm glad. That gives me optimism. Caving to the naysaying liberals is a recipe for failure. Never giving up until Iraq can stand on its own feet is a recipe for success.


Not giving up when losing is inevitable is a fool's game. Being stupid or in denial about Iraq is not a virtue. Did you read the article Z posted about Vietnam?

Again, I ask you.......where in you life or in history have you seen a positive from something so poorly planned and executed?
