Actually what she has said is a lie. President Bush has suggested using a more realistic index of inflation that may result in lower growth in benefits.

You see people who write falsehoods and wonder if they are intentionally lying, or just shouting out their ignorance.

Jozef, I totally agree with your comment about going 100% privatization, where people can invest in what they decide.

Not just treasury bonds and mutual funds the govt has hand picked out for you (only to discover you are paying a shocking amount of so-called management fees WS wants to impose) but individual stocks you select.

There's a report outlining the ultra high cost of the management fees WS wants to impose, truly annoying. More govt waste at our expense. They need to take a huge hammer to that.

Peter had made an inappropriate (and a rather rude) comment to you about me. I won't address his post to him since it's not worthy of a response (and am increasingly not wasting time replying to that sort of behavior), but will simply set the record straight, my information is accurate. There's an unfortunate tendency sometimes for some to instinctively name call rather than take the high road and intellectually discuss or even ask me for information. Like you, I prefer intellectual dialogue, even if I disagree with a person's message.

Regards,
Amy J
