It isn't. We spend more on Social Security, and if we don't yet we will in the coming years spend more (eventually a lot more) on Medicare.


Oh my God, Tim, you must be right even though you admit in the same sentence that what you're asserting may not, in fact, be true. Typical, rightie mumbo jumbo spin........you all are predictable if nothing else.

Also Joe was spot on when he said

Defense budget is shrinking in all kinds of measures, while Medicaid, Medicare, and SS are exploding."


Spot on? Joe hasn't been spot on since circa 1988 when he suggested that AMD was about to whup INTC's butt. If fact, I don't think I've met a Bush supporter yet whose been "spot on" on anything. Sorry!
