Amy J, Very true, it seems. At least there's Ron Paul. I like the fact he speaks out. Disagree with him on many issues, but absolutely love how he stands up on issues. Hope he always remains in Congress just for this reason. Need more like him that can speak up. Scarborough (I believe) claimed that there a couple of more renegade deficit hawks elected in the last cycle, but, unfortunately, I think the GOP congressional leadership has tasted the drug of patronage, pork barrel spending in the 99/00 cycle (the "new economy"), when all the rules broke down, and now they are just as addicted to spending as the Dems they replaced in 94.
