I agree and quite frankly being a fan of Hillary's I would hate to see her get zonked as my feel is that she is too woman's lib for most of the nation.
That being said, I think she would be a great candidate. It's just from the tone of this last election we as a nation could not accept a candidate like Hillary. She would need to be a Stepford wife as Laura is. Now, Laura sets the tone of what Americans like. Quiet, unobtrusive, glazes at George with loving eyes, rarely comments, does not take an active role even as Jackie did... (and then were was behind the scenes Nancy who had her astrologer..) Have to hide behind the scenes and not stick ones neck out.

A bright, energetic, thinking aggressive woman pursuing policies best for this Nation is not what gets votes...

Reward for all those qualities is attack, attack, attack, dig up and create propaganda and attack... get an investigative committee and fabricate. Who needs it.

I wrote a very well written plea to Nader begging him to ask for a cabinet position from the Democrats and to not run. I said in that letter that what he was doing was going to harm the U.S. and his running would provide no benefit other than to divide the anti-Bush vote. In dire times, I felt he needed to make sure that the environment wasn't sacrificed in the name of politics. He obviously didn't listen.

She will run for sure. Women politicians have a disadvantage in that society sees men as aging better than women ... and physical appearance is a huge factor in presidential politics. I don't think she will risk waiting another 4 to 8 years, the clock is ticking.
