Oh and btw, the Palestinian issue is as much an Arab issue as it is an Israeli issue. Why have none of the Arab neighbors allowed immigration into their countries from Palestine? The reason is that they don't care about the Palestinians. They want to use them as a tool to keep Israel weak. Nevermind that Israel has always been the largest source of jobs for for the people in the region.

They have taken in the Palestinians. There are a million Palestinians in Jordan alone. There are more in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, SA and Egypt as well as the ones in the West Bank and Gaza. Remember.......at one time, the Palestinians lived all over Palestine including what is now Israel.

But that's not my question to you nor do I need to hear your views on the Palestinians and Israelis. I know what they are.

I am asking you what you would do if Mexico suddenly did a de facto annexation of TX and NM?

What is remarkable is that the Israelis as brutal as they are, could have ended this conflict long ago. They have it within their power to wipe out all the Palestinians, but they don't. They show remarkably restraint.

Your conclusion here is exactly wrong. The Israelis, as the winners in the 1967 war, are obligated to rebuild their destrotyed opponents (the Palestinians) in a form that is mutually acceptable to the losers and the winners. That's what the US did after the civil war, what the allies did in Germany and Japan after WW2, and that's what we are doing now in Iraq. Just because the Israelis could kill all the Palestinians but don't do so is not admirable. The coalition could kill all Iraqis but doesn't do so - is that admirable restraint? No!

When you win a war, you rebuild the loser in a form where both societies can exist side by side in peace and equality. The Israelis, the rich, powerful winners, have failed to do this. You can't expect the uneducated, poor losers to do the rebuilding.

Home Builders May See Another Good Year, but Some Investment Strategists Say Industry Has Peaked

The Dow Jones U.S. Home Construction Index surged an astronomical 588 percent over the last five years, making it the market's top performing industry. It's been a leader over the last three months as well, rising 28.4 percent.

Wonder if a person can now short-sell Fidelity's Real Estate select fund? (just kidding).

What goes up 5X's in five years, may come down. : )
