Laz, I was a Californian for far longer than you have been. I saw the changes as they developed. I don't particularly fault California's institutions of higher learning. I grew weary of teaching California's high school graduates the alphabet and other basics. California has been the leader in all sorts of innovations, to be sure, some of them more desirable and valuable than others. - Holly
