Iran now claims it can produce nuclear fuel. Controlling the nuclear fuel cycle is the red line that everyone had wanted to prevent Iran from achieving. Experts say that controlling the fuel cycle means they can produce nuclear weapons. If what Iran is claiming is true, then Europe has already failed in their quest for a diplomatic resolution. I think a conflict with Iran is becoming almost inevitable now.

He also insisted that Iran now possesses the technology to control the whole nuclear fuel cycle -- from extracting uranium ore to enriching it.

"We have the ability to extract uranium, process it into yellowcake and enrich it and produce fuel. We can claim that we control the nuclear fuel cycle," he said.
