<(a) … that the Bush administration will reign-in fiscal spending, fix the tax system, and reach closure on old wars without starting new ones?>

Jay, the USA is always in military mode. So new wars are assured, as regular as the sunrise. neravt.com

King George II will rein in spending, somewhat. But debt will remain a way of life. Debt is a good thing - it keeps their shoulder to the wheel, nose to the grindstone, feet on the ground, back to the wall, eye on the ball and ear to the ground. Such contortions are difficult, but necessary with such debt levels. Singing along, to the tune of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, "I owe, I owe, it's off to work we go"...

I'm sure that the USA would like to join the fun in the manoeuvres with China and Russia planned for the Year of the Feather Duster. Russia and China will be delighted to have them come along to play too. Maybe Japan and South Korea and North Korea and Taiwan could join in too.

Your quarry looks like an excellent place for sumptuous apartments. Elevated too, thereby resistant to untimely tsunamis. I note the air quality is horrible.

PS: Ai Li looks great. You are obviously doing an excellent job [mother anyway].
