Having long since LOST the argument on SS privatization, the left retreats to the cowardly position that fools so many populist idiots-constantly referring to the "Bush Plan".

Bush has the VISION, and leaves it up to lesser men to write the plan. There's no SHORTAGE of lesser men in Washington. They are a dime a dozen-ESPECIALLY in the US Senate (which should be renamed the "Society of Lesser Men")...

His "ownership society" is a euphemism for a "debtors society", you'll have the Lords, and the serfs. His idea of "ownership" for example is that insurance plans should have a 1600 deductible, to get people to take more "ownership" for their medical costs- guess what it's been demonstrated that if people have to pay higher deductibles, they tend to get less medical care, all they need is the catastrophic coverage anyway, right? Then you can look at where his budget axe fall most heavily, on programs that help the weakest in society.
