Yup. Not just private money but a ton of subsides from the government. Billions of dollars.

However, there is so much imported... Check in Google of wherever to see how many crops we IMPORT rather than use the American Farmer's goods.

What's wrong with importing goods. If people want to buy some goods (agricultural or otherwise) from another country, for whatever reason it is their right (at least if it is not illegal).

Maybe your point is we shouldn't pay people not to grow goods while we import goods. I understand where your coming from here, I'm against the payments and just about all subsides from the government but the payments are price support. They try to keep the price up. Imports are not part of any such policy they are dependent on the actions of individuals and companies not government policy. If the government was importing all this foreign food while paying Americans to not grow it than it would indeed be silly.
